The NEBOSH Diploma aims to provide the essential knowledge that health and safety practitioners will need to reinforce their performance and is therefore suitable anyone who wants to follow a career in occupational safety and health practice.

Entry Requirements

The NEBOSH Diploma builds on knowledge that is gained from studying a NEBOSH
Certificate or similar course and it is therefore highly recommended such a
qualification is gained before starting the NEBOSH Diploma course.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of the NEBOSH National Diploma candidates will be able to;

  • Review health and safety arrangements within a workplace and produce justified recommendation to reduce risk and improve health and safety performance.
  • Reduce costs by preventing accidents and ill-health of employees and thus improving productivity.
  • Implement an effective health and safety management strategy at an operational level.
  • Recognise and control major aspects of health and safety within a workplace.

Classroom Courses
• Complete Course 7 Weeks (31 days)
• Unit A – 3 Weeks (13 days); Unit B – 2 Weeks (9 days); Unit C – 2 Weeks (9 days)

Units A, B and C are each assessed by a three-hour written question paper. The exams consist of 11 questions split into 2 sections. There is a total of 120 marks available.

Unit DNI is a written assignment which assess the practical application of knowledge gained throughout the course. Delegates must demonstrate their understanding of the role of a health and safety practitioner and their ability to respond to risk and improve performance.


Refunds of fees will only be made for written cancellations received at least 21 days prior to the start of the course (less a 10% cancellation fee to cover administration costs). However, we are happy to accept substitute delegates. Any changes to delegates should be notified, by telephone, as soon as possible.Bookings that are accepted within 48 hours are deemed confirmed and subject to payment, even if the delegate is subsequently unable to attend.
