Aim

The NEBOSH International Diploma is the leading qualification for UK health and safety practitioners. The NEBOSH Diploma builds on the knowledge gained at Certificate level and is designed for those seeking a successful long-term career as a health and safety professional. Benefits of holding the NEBOSH Diploma include:

• Entitlement to graduate membership of IOSH (GradIOSH), the first step to becoming a Chartered Health and Safety Practitioner

Unit IC – Workplace and Work Equipment Safety – 120 Hours

• Workplace Welfare Requirements and Specific Workplace Issues
• Fire and Explosion

• The Storage, Handling and Processing of Dangerous Substances
• Work Equipment
• Workplace Machinery
• Mobile, Lifting, Access and Work at Height Equipment

Unit DNI: Application of Health and Safety Theory and Practice

• Assessed by a work based project

Assessment

The examination for both versions of the syllabus consists of three 3-hour written examinations (one each for Units IA, IB & IC) and an 8,000 word work based project. You must pass all four to be awarded the NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

Entry Requirements

The NEBOSH Diploma builds on knowledge that is gained from studying a NEBOSH Certificate or similar course and it is therefore highly recommended such a qualification is gained before starting the NEBOSH Diploma course. Cancellations

Refunds of fees will only be made for written cancellations received at least 21 days prior to the start of the course (less a 10% cancellation fee to cover administration costs). However, we are happy to accept substitute delegates. Any changes to delegates should be notified, by telephone, as soon as possible.Bookings that are accepted within 48 hours are deemed confirmed and subject to payment, even if the delegate is subsequently unable to attend.
