The NEBOSH Environmental Certificate is made up of two unit:

Unit EC1: Management and Control of Environmental Hazards

• Foundations in Environmental Management
• Environmental Management Systems
• Environmental Impact Assessments
• Control of Emissions to Air
• Control of Contamination of Water Sources
• Control of Waste and Land Use
• Sources and Use of Energy and Energy Efficiency
• Control of Environmental Noise
• Planning for and Dealing with Environmental Emergencies

Unit EC2: Environmental Practical Application

• Practical assessment, undertaken in your workplace

Assessment

Unit EC1 of the NEBOSH Environmental Certificate is assessed by a two-hour written examination. Unit EC2 is assessed by a workplace-based practical assessment (an environmental review of a workplace)

Cancellations

Refunds of fees will only be made for written cancellations received at least 21 days prior to the start of the course (less a 10% cancellation fee to cover administration costs). However, we are happy to accept substitute delegates. Any changes to delegates should be notified, by telephone, as soon as possible.Bookings that are accepted within 48 hours are deemed confirmed and subject to payment, even if the delegate is subsequently unable to attend.
